Photocopy and Fax Services

The library offers photocopy and fax services.
The cost for faxing is $1.00 for the first page and 50¢ for each additional page.

Computer Services

The Covington and Veedersburg libraries each offer computers for public use.
Computer services offered by the library include:

  1. Fast internet connections
  2. Printing services from library computers
  3. Wireless internet (password protected)
  4. Word processing software
  5. Spreadsheet software
  6. Microsoft Office Publisher and PowerPoint software
  7. Ancestry Genealogy database access
  8. World Book Encyclopedia database access

Reference Databases

Our library has a collection of digital databases to assist you in your research.

You can access many of these databases by using your library barcode number. Inspire is free to all Indiana residents and consists of a large collection of reference databases, educational testing resources and employment assistance resources.

Although Ancestry Library Edition can only be accessed while you are physically in the Covington or Veedersburg Public Library buildings, you are able to access it from your laptop via our wireless internet connection.

Reference Services

Our library staff is available to answer your reference questions, including questions about
genealogy and local history.

Microfilm Services

The library has a collection of microfilmed reference materials to assist in your research.
Our staff will be happy to assist you in learning to use the microfilm reader.

Interlibrary Loan Services

You may order library materials through Interlibrary Loan if you find that our library does not have an item that you would like to borrow. Fill out the Interlibrary Loan Request Form online and we will attempt to find your item from another Indiana Library free of charge. You must be a patron in good standing to use this service. Exam Proctoring

The Covington-Veedersburg Public Library offers test proctoring at no charge to homeschooled students, postsecondary students and professionals taking licensing exams.
