If you are a teen, age 12–18, please don’t miss your chance to have fun and help out at your local Library by joining the VolunTeens.

408 N. Main Street.

December 2011 Tween-Teen Schedule:

December 6th, 4 to 5 pm -Are You Smarter Than A 4th Grader?  This program is designed for FUN, FUN, FUN!  5th - 12th graders can play for CASH prizes.  Our 4th grade class is ready to help you cheat to win!  Must sign in upstairs to play.

December 8th, 4 pmm - Movie on the big screen!

The Smurf's new out on DVD.  Runs 103 minutes.  Popcorn provided by the Friends of the Library.

December 13th, 4 -5pm - Duct Tape Tuesday

Beginners will make a coin purse ready to give as a gift or keep.

Those with some experience with duct tape can make tcoin purse  OR a gift bag.

Only the experienced can make a duct tape Christmas stocking. 

Must sign up and indicate one color you would like to use.  No project takes a whole duct tape roll.  Participants will share!!

December 15th, 4:30 - 6pm - Xbox 360 Kinect

Join us for video game thrills!  Board games and snacks will also be part of the fun.

December 20th, 4 pm - Movie!  Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom

Runs 90 minutes and all ages are invited.  Popcorn and one drink.

Study Buddy on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Make homework "fun and done" with the help of our academic honor volunteens!  3:30 - 5pm every Tuesday and Thursday school is in session.  This is for 1st - 7th graders looking to understand assignments better and to get them finished.
